This has been bugging me for some time.
The nuts I have used since drawing on the board have been toBS3692/DIN934. This is also a standard listed in Machinery'sHandbook.
Toolbox does not have these, anyone know why? They are straightforward nuts but the o/all height is not the same as the threadsize as in some other standards,
has no collar or flange.
I have come to notice that
BSI / DIN / ISO contain a series of nuts which in fact are all thesame, they just have a different code attached to them depending onwhich country uses them
eg BSI BS EN 24034 = DIN EN24034 = ISO 4034.
Correct me if I'm wrong. But in an attempt to get a std nut w/outcollar/flange/prev.torque etc. I have changed the standards andended up with the same nut.SolidworksToolbox
