I'm hoping someone can help me out, I'm having issues.
I'm running SW2008, SP 5.0.
4 GB ram
Running into memory limitations at about 1.6 GB per the taskmanager. I understant the XP2000 32 bit limitation. /3GB switch didnot help.
This should be easy, I want to use lightweight components and assys(for once). In my system options-performance tab, "automaticallyload components lightweight" is greyed out. Large assy mode isturned off (this didn't work properly there either). "Resolvelightweight components" is set to prompt.
Assys load with all components resolved. If I "set resolved tolightweight" subs and components go lightweight, however when Isave the assy and reopen it, everything is resolved.
When I use large assy mode and turn "automatically load componentslightweight" it is no better, still opens resolved. For smallerassys I prefer things resolved but I need a workaround to get thisproject finished. I have been supressing subs, but this isn'tviable at this point. We will upgrade to 64 bit, but not at thisinstant.
