I was just reading something over on another forum about aperson looking for what software to buy, and just happened to catchsomething interesting, this is what he said:
"I am new and never have heard of solidworks before. Mostly justknew about products like 3ds max and maya. so I hopped over tothier website to check it out and the cost. then I saw, "email usfor a quote on this software". thats pretty clear how expensive itis. so I wont even go there."
Well - I have to agree with him! Why won't SolidWorks make theirprices known on their website without having to resort to askingfor quotes? I even asked for quote once and never got a reply -hrmph.
Especially since SolidWorks has nothing to hide, thesoftware is priced very reasonably in-line with the rest of itsmarket, it's not like it's a 65000\\\$ Alias Automotive license here,right?
