We use Check-in, Check-out and State changes all the time via the right-click menu in SolidWorks.  In 2016 these commands now reside in a Flyout menu which requires another click for high usage commands.

Worse yet the PDM menu items that not selectable are no longer greyed out.  So now I can pick Check-in when a part is not checked out and a dialog pops up and says "this menu option that you have selected is not available".   We are currently on 2014 so I do not know if this changed in 15 or 16 but never the less it is a definite step back in the workflow.
