different types of dimensions

Wondering if there's a better way to go about dimensioning things. What I'll typically do is start working with some rough measurements, create a quick-and-dirty model, and then refine it. This usually involves re-sketching, re-modeling, re-scaling, etc. In other words, a lot of re-dimensioning. So it can get to be a little bit confusing, as to which dimensions are 'rough' and which dimensions are more refined. What I've been doing is just making written notes after the dimensions, indicating whether they're 'rough' or 'verified', etc. Is there a way to assign dimensions to user-defined categories? Wanted to ask before submitting a feature-request. Imagine it might work like under/fully/over-defined sketches. Would like to be able to assign dimensions to categories that I could define to indicate different things, whether it's a wild guess, within some specified range of accuracy, verified, etc. Should have the option to indicate the status of the dimensions within a sketch, just like under/fully/over-defined sketches too. Would be great to know at a glance if I've overlooked any dimensions in my sketches that are going to throw things off.

Would anyone else find this helpful?
