I've been thinking for a while that it would be incredibly helpful for SW to have a notes column in the feature tree where I could make notes to myself and other engineers about the design as it progresses. Has this ever been a feature or does anyone know of any plugins? 

I would imagine the note section would exist in the tree as a column in the picture below. I would want to use it to make notes of each individual item and/or folder within the tree. This would help me remember what I was thinking months prior and earlier on in the model. It would likely help teams handing a complicated model back and forth and it would definitely help in any kind of hand off situation where a model transfers ownership from one engineer to another. This is pretty common practice in any kind of computer coding setting and I think could be useful for design engineers too. Thoughts?
