We have SolidWorks 2007 running on a Dell Optiplex GX520 andalso aDell Precision 490. The Dell precision 490 is brand new andwaspurchased specifically for running SolidWorks.
An assembly (.SLDASM) can take up to 20 minutes to load onthePrecision (as opposed to less than a minute on the Optiplex).
I have swapped the network connections over, but to noavail.However, working exclusively from the hard drive of ofthePrecision fixes the problem totally.
Can anyone help to throw any light onto this problem please?Maybethere is a patch or a setting ...
