I'm hoping somebody can educate me on this. a few of us at my work were having issues with decals not showing up at all, or not behaving properly. we saw issues on new files as well as files we know were once working properly, on our own machines.

after some investigation, a co-worker came across a check box under

that check box was checked on our machines and it was titled "Enhanced graphics performance (requires SOLIDWORKS restart)"

UNCHECKING this box restored full decal functionality.

so, the obvious questions are

1) what happened to our machines that suddenly prompted this option to be checked? we never physically went in and checked it. decals used to work just fine but once this box is checked, they stop working properly

2) how in the HE** is somebody supposed to correlate this check box and this description to decal problems? my co worker was able to find some references to it on the Googler but my god is it not obvious that unchecking this box will restore decal functionality.
