We have just upgraded to 2008 (from 2006) and the PartNofield does not act the same. We use the Custom properties in thepart/assembly file to transfer information to the drawing and theBOM (Excel based). As we started creating BOMs we noticed that thePartNo is the file name not the Custom Property PartNo? Before I goand change my VB app to use something other than PartNo is there away to change this so I can continue to use the PartNo field?
