I am new to SW 2008, so my apologies for a novice question.

I am trying to create a part using a standard extrusion. This iswhat I have done (and where I am stuck).

1. Create new part
2. Open the Design Library, drill down to the cross-section I want,and drag it into the part window
3. The Placement Place is box is highlighted and I choose one ofthe part's reference planes (from the feature tree)
4. The References box is now highlighted and there is a questionmark before 'Sketch Point1'
5. I select the part's origin (from the feature tree), and all ishappy. (Actually, I figured this out while typing this posting...)

So, is it possible to move the reference point? In my case, thesection in question is an aluminum c-channel. It winds up beingplaced with the lower corner aligned with the origin. It would bepreferred if the point aligned with the origin were the middle ofthe web. Can you suggest how to accomplish this? (When I edit thesketch, the lower left corner has two small red arrows - I assumethese are the sketch origin...)
