Cosmetic thread error OR how can I access dimensions that won't show on-screen

I have a multi-configuration part that has threaded holesthat are sometimes a pipe-thread and sometimes a straight thread. Iam using a legacy hole and controling the dimensions with a designtable to get what I need. This all works beautifully UNITL I try toadd a cosmetic thread to the hole. I can add the thread withoutissue, but I need to be able to change the diameter of the cosmeticthread in the design table. I know I have done this in the past, but this is the second part I have struggled with in 2009. If I setthe depth to blind, and dbl-click the dashed diameter annotation, the depth comes up, but not the diameter. I turned on displayfeature dimensions, and I get the depth, but not the diameter. Ihave suppressed, then unsuppressed; hidden and unhidden; turned onand off instant 3d, and every other trick I can think of toconvince SW to display the dimension so I can chg it to configspec. So I guess I have 2 questions:

Is this the intended behavior for cosmetic thread, or is this abug?
Is there a way to access dimensions that I can't get to displayonscreen to find out their name or set them to config spec.

I am pretty sure I can get to the name of this dimension by placinga cosmetic thread on an OD and dbl clicking the annotation or byprocess of elimination. I'm sure it is either D1 or D2@featurename. I thought I had this fixed once already, though, and it cameback when I changed configs. It really feels like a bug.

UPDATE: Okay, I found that the depth is D1, so, logically, thediameter is D2. I added D2@feature name to my design table and itsays there is no such thing. I have other cosmetic threads in thismodel that are controlled the same way. I have deleted andre-inserted the cosmetic thread multiple times, with the sameresult. Help please.SolidworksGeneral
