I'm looking for a way to correct descriptions on several thousand toolbox parts in our copied parts folder.  Over the past 13 years toolbox we've had many issues with toolbox and I'm on a mission to clean the files up.

I've corrected exported fastener lists to excel, put in proper descriptions, and brought the lists back into toolbox.  Now I need to correct existing data.

I thought I would use the Update Toolbox Components but it inconsistently shows up on the menu and I've noticed it actually changing parts out in the assembly.

I thought, I have a list of files and a list of descriptions.  I just need a way to step through the list editing each file.

Has anyone created a similar macro?
