Hi,
I have searched but did find an answer to my question. Sorry if Imissed it.
I have experience with other analysis tools performing modalanalysis but have limited experience using the SolidWorks/COSMOStool.
When performing a frequency analysis, it appears that theconstraints or "connections" are very limited. When one performs ananalysis of a structure that contains multiple components andfasteners, how does one account for that?
For example, when two parts have a common surface they do notappear to be allowed to join in the frequency analysis. Further Icannot use the bolted connection feature to secure the components.
Are there work arounds? Or are there features, options, or othermethodologies specific to COSMOS Frequency analysis that I amunaware of?
Thanks,
SolidworksSimulation
