Hi everyone.
Management has just replaced my monitor with a new Acer AL1916W LCDMontior. I must say that its great having a LCD, so much more deskspace and the Widescreen version they got makes it even better....
Two issues I have found though is that:
1. My old CRT monitor had a resolution of 1280X1024 whereas the newone is 1440x900.
2. The CRT monitor seems to have more "clarity or definition". (ie.Model edges and lines on the LCD look "dotted / pixelated" insteadof being a smooth clear line or edge. (I had the same issue at myold company when they replaced the CRT with an LCD.) Is this justsomething that must be expected from an LCD or does it depend onthe LCD specs. What attribute determines the LCD clarity.
Is there any way I can set my new monitor up to improve the edgeclarity?
Thanks,
Wayne
