If you use a c-channel from the toolbox, then extrude todesired length, cut a hole in the channel. Now, let's say, you wanta different channel size to add strength to your assembly. Is therea way to update the channel to a different size, rather thandeleting the extrude and selecting a different channel....having tore-sut the hole, etc?

Guess I should add that I am not using a weldment, where I couldquickly update the profile because my boss doesn't want us usingweldments. He says he always wants the ability to use that part inanother assembly, not make it unique to a weldment. So that's why Icreated a part file to generate the structural steel member. Anyothers suggestions besides using a weldment?
