Hi,

I want to get serial plaques manufactured. There should be 162 cut out of a single sheet (and there will be multiple sheets). The serial numbers should be engraved into the plaques. We have a list of all the serial numbers and each plaque should have one of these serial numbers. I would like to add the serial numbers directly in Solidworks (in a sketch) so I can export a dxf for the manufacturer.

I was wondering if there is a way to automate this process, so I don’t have to add all the numbers by hand? Some kind of function where solidworks takes the numbers from an external file and puts them into designated places in a solidworks sketch? See picture attached.
