With the new interface of SW08 there is not a convienent wayto switch between open parts. By that, I mean I have to go to thekeyboard and hit ctrl-tab and then select one of the open boxes inthe nice, new preview box. I use a spaceball, and with the mouse, Ido most of my CAD work without having to touch the keyboard withthe exception of entering numeric values or typing text.
I tried mapping the ctrl-tab to a button on my SpaceBall, but whenI press the button is effectly momentarily presses the ctrl-tab andI just switch back to my last document open. Even if I try to holddown the short cut key, it will not keep the browse open dialog boxopen so that I can select which document I wish to switch too. Itried this with a macro unsuccessfully, and also tried bind it to aspecific keyboard key to use that on the SpaceBall - no luck.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not a macro pro by any means, but could a macro be created that would keep that browse opendocuments dialog box open until one is selected? I would appreciateany help!
PS - Yes, I know I can keep the traditional File / Edit / View toolbox visible with the thumb tack depressed, and use the typicalwindows drop down list to select from open documents, but itclutters up the screen and I'd like to make use of the browse opendocuments dialog box, which really is a very nice improvement tomanage multiple documents open all at the same time.
Thanks!
