Appearance for presentation but not manufacturing

I have toggled Realview and Shadows OFF because they are of nobenefit to my task.

I want Photoworks appearance in assembly doc for presentation, butnot in the parts docs.

When I try to save the assembly with appearance, SW wants to alterthe parts docs. When I say NO the assembly seems not to be saved.

How can I work around this?
