Apparently I'm a masochist

I recently posted the discussion "Stuck on a Christmas Gift" to ask for help with surfacing the hair for a model of the character Azazel from the game The Binding of Isaac. After weeks of pulling my own hair out, I received just the help I needed! Azazel was completed and is absolutely beautiful. I plan to paint him and then roll around on the floor a lot in impatience for Christmas.

Once I completed him, I told myself "thank god that's over, I'm never doing that again." After which I immediately started making the rest of the characters (because I'm a freaking masochist.) There are currently 13 playable characters in the afterbirth update of the game, I'd like to make all of them eventually. I have completed 4 of them including Azazel. Things are beginning to get tricky though! As I mentioned in my first post, I'm still new to modeling, we never went over surfacing in class, so all my attempts have been from watching youtube and experimenting. Sometimes this gets pretty funny. Thus far I have completed models for Isaac, Azazel, Judas (with and without the Book of Belial effect), and Cain. I'm working on Lazarus at the moment, and as usual am stuck on hair, though I'm making progress. (I've put up a couple of pictures showing my attempts at a boundary surface; the struggle is real.)

I figured you guys would like to see my progress so far, please let me know what you think! I'll drop updates here as I continue the project. I'll also post the pictures of the printed Azazel model (which may be the cutest thing I've ever seen.) Enjoy!
