Follow the easier steps below.

Download the attached zip file

import PreferExternalManifest.reg file to the Windows registry.   Double click it to import.

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > SideBySide
• PreferExternalManifest  DWORD valud of 1

copy SLDWORKS.exe.manifest  to the same directory where SLDWORKS.exe is located.

Start solidworks and enjoy.     Don't like the UI scaling?  delete the registry entry and manifest file
