So we now have Composer...awesome!! I can start generating all sorts of images....fantastic! What's the best way to control this new fun I'm having? We have PDMW, but it's not real fun to check in external non-solidwork files into it. We also have Matrix One, which is not setup for these files yet. So, for the time being I've set up a numbering system very simply CGXXXXX, then each view is saved as CGXXXXX-1, -2, -3, etc. Each composer number gets its own directory where the composer file and any images generated are stored all on the server, so it's backed up. This is until I can get a more reliable system in place with true revision control, but it will take some time to get a good work flow to sniff out the bugs.
What are some of your experiences? Good and Bad? How are you managing your files, and is it working? or do you even have a process?
