How do I add custom properties to existing parts? I need tocreate new start-parts, and some of the custom properties need tobe exported from one part and added to another part, as well as thedrawing format. All the parts/assemblies need to be standardized onthe same custom properties (Should have been configured out-of-thebox).

In Pro-E, if a part was missing "parameters", these propertiescould be exported to a *.txt file, then copied and paste into thepart file. The drawing would then auto-populate with the parameters(custom properties).

Does anyone have a simple technique for copying and pasting customproperties into an existing part from another part? I appreciatethe help and suggestions. I have already looked at the SolidWorks2007 Bible which has provided some help.SolidworksGeneral
