To make this Experience the best it can be for everyone, I welcome anyone to post information to this thread - regarding events, places to go, things to do and see in Nashville, or any other helpful information you may have.
I will be continuously updating, consolidating and arranging the information and links in this thread.

Things To Do Before or After 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020 in Nashville
At the Convention:
Keep some snacks in your backpack (especially Sunday (no food served until Sunday evening reception))
You can usually find water dispensers throughout the convention area but it is advisable to keep a bottle of water / juice /or similar with you. Keep a mobile charger for your devices with you to eliminate the need to find outlets for recharging (but also locate any available outlets if you get a chance (just in case). Be sure to full charge your devices every night..
You will get a booklet when you register that will list your classes / times and locations. Walk the convention area (and possibly neighboring hotels) before the activities begin to learn the best ways to get between the classes you will attend. You may have long distances between some classes with a short time to get there. Also locate the meeting areas, meal rooms, bathrooms, Playground (Formerly known as the Partner Pavilion) etc. early.

Updated 1/21/20 - Goal has been hit for EDKAR T-Shirts (70 sold) - You can still purchase one but will not arrive in time for world.
3DEXPERIENCE WORLD 2020 T-Shirts
Parking - to/from Convention Center:
General Parking:
Expect Parking on the street to be difficult if even available. Any spots would probably also be metered (so you would have to go back and feed the meter). Check with your hotel for their parking rates and locations.
(More from )(11/7) There are of course Uber, Lyft, Taxis, and 5-6 scooter companies all in the downtown area. There have been instances where a major conference is going on, a big concert at Bridgestone arena (across the street), and our peak weekend crowds (Sat/Sunday) and the flow downtown is organized quite well
Here is a map of some parking I am aware of near the Conference center. A cool thing about the Music City Center is there is a tunnel that runs through the first floor allowing access to a covered parking garage. I have labeled it on the map. Hopefully, Everyone is staying relatively close to the convention center where their hotel would have parking available.
Hotels may offer shuttle service or can recommend services - check with your hotel.

Justification Letter to Attend 3DEXPERIENCE WORLD 2020:
- Download and modify the 3DEXPERIENCE WORLD 2020 sample justification letter to fit your needs and pesent to your company to show the benefits of your attending the conference: (note:a couple spelling errors have been noted in this generic letter, so check spelling), you can reword portions to tailor it to be more in line to your specific needs and companies/ bosses focus.
- It is suggested to get your company approval early. Pricing will increase January 10th. Companies may take time to provide approvals.
- The agenda is available now, you can suggest classes to show your company where they will improve your abilities and speed - saving them more than the cost for you to go. Financial justification is often the best corporate motivation.

Nashville Winter Weather:
Nashville winters are relatively mild, but they can be wet which can make temperatures feel cold. On average, temperatures range from 30 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 1 to 10 degrees Celsius), but there are occasional snaps of even colder weather due to blasts of arctic Canadian air. Snow does happen, but not more than two or three times per year and even then, just an inch or two.
What to pack: It can get chilly and you'll want to pack for that with warm, layered clothing. But also bring at least one warmer-weather outfit for the occasional day of rebound warmth. Inside the convention center and class rooms may be cool so it is recommended to carry a light jacket / sweater.
Average Temperatures by Month
December: 49 F (9 C)/32 F (0 C) January: 46 F (8 C)/28 F (minus 2 C)
February: 52 F (11 C)/31 F (minus 1 C)
- January: 37.5 F (3 C); 3.97 inches of rain; 10 daylight hours
- February: 42 F (5.5 C); 3.69 inches of rain; 11 daylight hours
Nashville, TN Monthly Weather | AccuWeather
Long range forecast (last updated 1/27/20)
The weather in Nashville at this time of year is very dynamic and the forecast is changing daily.
Plan for anything from sun to rain or even possible sleet or snow. Generally, nights will be cold, ranging from low 40's to upper 20's, and days will range form upper 50's to upper 30's.
The latest Forecast sent by Omni Hotel this morning 2/3/20, is quite a change from a couple days ago. Never seen a forecast with the icon shown for Tuesday 02-11. Looks like a VERY WET Monday and Tuesday. Be ready for rain for Special Event (at least it will be a bit warmer that earlier predictions). Also remember, this changes daily.
AND THEN THERE IS ACCUWEATHER AT 9PM 2/3/20.
SOMEBODY IS REALLY OUT OF SYNC. Hope it's Omni.
2/5 9am - no update from Omni but Acuweather is showing light rain/snow for Saturday and rain for Tuesday
