Hello,
In CosmosMotion 2008, 3D contacts/elastic properties/impact thereare parameters for stiffness, exponent, max. damping, andpenetration . The only information I can find in the help files forthe elastic properties is for the penetration.
So lower settings allow more penetration -just the oppositeof what I would have expected. Could someone tell me howpenetration in CosmosMotion 2008 is defined? Does it have unitsassociated with it? What value should be entered to effectivelyhave no penetration.
Likewise, is there a definition somewhere for the stiffness, exponent, and max damping?
Thanks for the help,
Dave

3D Contact Resolution. Controls the allowed amount ofpenetration within geometric meshes. Lower settings allow morepenetration within the mesh.
