I have a solidworks model with which I would liketoextract a sectional view (in a desired plane) in 2-D DXFformat.2.I would also at the same time like to have 3-D STL formatof thewhole model.What is the way to get result 1 if I have asectionalview of the desired part of the model on a drawing? Howcan I savethis in DXF format as Comsol Multiphysics 3.3 accepts 2-Danalysisfiles in DXF format ?What are the settings I need to maketoachieve a successful import of a 3-D STL for my model inComsolMultiphysics? When I was saving the STL file in theSolidworksenvironment, it gave me a dialog box where I could optfor the wayin which it could create the STL format. I left thedefault optionsand later I could not import it successfully on toComsolMultiphysics!Where could be the problem? I would appreciateyouranswers to this query.
