Hi,
a customer of mine been having this issue for a while now.
Computer hardware:
intel Q6600 CPU
4 GB ram
DQ35JOE Intel Motherboard
Leadtek Quadro FX1700 with 162.62 drivers
2 x 250gb Sata drives
WinXP X64
page file of 8gb sits on diffrent HDD then the SW install.
a large assembly takes around 4min to open
switching between sheets takes 2-3 min
all 4 cores are at high CPU during the load of the assembly and theswitching.
tried changing motherboard & cpu, tried with diffrent gfx card.
tried a fresh install on a new HDD with WinXP 32bit.
tried opening this assembly on a diffrent computer(weaker hardwarewise) and it worked better.
tried opening both localy and through network.
also tried a few of the pointers on this forum.
any ideas what would be causing this?
TIA,
