One of the Solidworks locations I manage in another state hasboth standalone users (the engineers) and SNL users (variousothers). In 2007 it was fairly easy to set up the .ini file to givethe standalone people the specific serial number they needed andgive everyone else the SNL serial number.
It's not obvious to me how to do this with 2008, however. At firstit seemed like doing something with the Users or Groupsfunctionality might do it, but the problem is that I don't want tohave to set up all the SNL users explicitly, since there are quitea few and that list changes regularly. Is there a way to specify a"default" serial number that should be used if that user doesn'thave a specific standalone serial number defined for them? Sorry ifthat seems like a dense question .. it wasn't obvious to me in theInstallation Guide how this would be done.SolidworksAdministration
