How Access to Certification Exams Will Be Handled For 3DEXPERIENCE World 2022 Now That The In Person Conference Has Been Cancelled

Greetings everyone.

With the announcement that 3DEXPERIENCE World 2022 will be moving to a virtual only event, I wanted to be sure to provide some very clear information about what we are going to do with the free access to exams benefit some people would have received.

The easiest way to think of which group you fall into is this. Were you already registered to attend the conference in person? If yes, then you fall into the group of people that are going to receive extra benefits. If no, then you fall into the Virtual Attendee category.

The Details:

All attendees will get access to some free exams for a period of 5 days.

Access to exams opens February 14, 2022 at 00:00 EST
Access to exams closes February 18, 2022 at 23:59 EST

So, which exams will you get to attempt?

If, prior to January 19th you were registered to travel to and attend 3DEXPERIENCE World 2022 in Atlanta, then you will have access to the exams showing a green checkmark in the column titled "Attendees who Registered to attend On-Site Prior to January 19th, 2022". If you were going to join the conference in any other way, then you will have access to the "All Other Virtual Attendees" list of exams. This includes ALL student registrants.

Based on whether attendees were already registered to attend onsite or not prior to January 19th (date when the conference was announced to go fully Virtual), the list of exams available is shown in the attached table.

For the DESKTOP Exams Category, each attendee can attempt up to 2 exams of their choice.

For the 3DEXPERIENCE Exams Category, each attendee can attempt up to 6 exams of their choice.

To understand which exam you will be able to take, determine which column you fall into. Then find the exam in the list. If you see a green check mark then you will be able to take the exam. If you don't, then you will not be able to take the exam.

-Please note the exams that have a prerequisite. For example, if you want to take the 3DCREATOR Professional exam, you also need to take and pass the collaborative Business Innovator AND collaborative Industry Innovator exams FIRST. Assuming you pass both of those on the first attempt, that will consume 2 of your exam attempts before you even take the 3DCREATOR Professional exam.

-Only exams taken in VirtualTester qualify to satisfy the prerequisite requirement. If you took some 3DEXPERIENCE exams and you are not able to access them through this site, please email certification@solidworks.com and ask what you need to do.

IMPORTANT:

The VirtualTester account used to access this offer must match the email address used to register for the conference. Changing the email address associated with your account during the access period (February 14-18) will void your access to this offer.
