WHO exactly are Makers and why do they need MakerSpaces?  For many, their answer may be as simple as: they want the world to benefit from their creations.

Yes, it is a bit 101'ish, but well, Makers…make things!  And they design all kinds of cool things from the tangible, physical kinds of objects to gadgets to paintings and music.  Dassault Systèmes has the Makers Offer and community to get these folks out of their basement or garage MakerLabs and into the virtual communal space where they can share their cool designs and builds.

Have you checked out the MAKERS | Made in 3D community lately? If not, head on over there to see all the cool things being shared - such as wooden lamp lights, projects to keep the kids happy (as any parent will know, this makes the world better) and there's even a project related to everyone's favorite droid, R2-D2.
