Celebrating 30 Years of Innovation
From 30 years pins on stage to the display wall in the Playground HIVE, this year's event proudly celebrated the 30 years of innovation since the first launch of SOLIDWORKS. Even our CEO, @PD shared his 🥰love💘 of SOLIDWORKS and experiences at past "WORLD" events. We saw more than 600 users come through the booth and try their hands at SOLIDWORKS '95.

Out of meetings with our inaugural Customer Advisory Council came several new initiatives, each of which was well received by our target audiences:
1️⃣ First-Timers program: This program included our first customer-centric Know Before You Go recording, which was available to all attendees, a First-Timer Welcome Networking Reception prior to the Sunday Welcome Reception, and a User Session dedicated to first timers, which was presented by some of our long-term and shorter-term attendees.
2️⃣ Mentor/Mentee: This new program included a User Session dedicated to the Mentee journey, a networking session during the Monday Evening Reception, and a roundtable on Successful Mentoring, all of which were managed by the incomparable @JP
3️⃣ Roundtables: Much like the Birds-of-a-Feather of the past, we had twenty-one tables dedicated to different topics including Successful Mentoring, Women in Technology, Machine Integrations, Designing Mechatronics Products, AI Meets Product Design, and more.
4️⃣ Women in Technology: @BS moderated a panel for one of the User breakout session & one of the roundtables. On Tuesday evening, we hosted a Women in Technology Networking Reception to aid in a new networking opportunity for women and their allies attending the event. The number one question asked by women leaving the networking session was some variant of, "Are you doing this again next year?" The answer is yes for all four of the new initiatives!
