It’s that time of year. I can tell you all, as the manager of the SOLIDWORKS Champions Program here, that buzz is picking up big time on 3DEXPERIENCE World 2021 conversation.
Questions like the following have been taking over recent discussion:
- Will we have Model Mania?!
- Will there be a CSWE Event?!
- Will there be networking style events?!
And I can assure you: Yes! Yes! Yes! Haha we are working on all of these areas, and we’ll be rolling out announcements on these activities as we move closer to the event. J
For now – today – I’m here to announce some pretty awesome news. And it involves one of the areas we all love at World: the smart, accomplished, altruistic individuals who come to share their vision and inspiration to the entire SOLIDWORKS community.
I think back to people like our friend Destin Sandlin of Smarter Every Day, who hung out with thousands of us back in 2015 in Phoenix to talk all about ‘doing smart stuff online’ and looking at the world differently as engineers. I think back to people like Leland Melvin back in 2019, who reminded us to keep pushing and to never give up on our dreams.
Well, today, I’m here to reveal someone else who’s coincidentally very familiar with aerospace, just like Leland. On this blog published to the SOLIDWORKS Blog yesterday, we made several exciting announcements. One of the biggest being: Titan Gilroy, CEO of the design to manufacturing education powerhouse TITANS of CNC will be one of our special guest speakers!
TITANS of CNC is an advanced training facility based in Rocklin, CA, and home to a revolutionary suite of online CNC Academies. TITAN’s clients have included top aerospace companies, as well as other specialized industries. He also produced, directed, and starred in the only reality series dedicated to American Manufacturing, TITANS of CNC. Today, TITAN is not only an expert in manufacturing but he has become the world’s leading advocate for the future of Manufacturing Education.
