This tutorial shows you how to simulate a pressure job on a composite made plate. The plate is built-in at one end, and is constrained to move on rails parallel to the plate axis at the other end.You will be determining the midspan deflection when the plate carries a uniform pressure. You will also assess whether a linear analysis is valid for this problem. You will be performing an analysis using Abaqus/Standard.
