Roopesh MATHUR is Roles Portfolio Engineering Senior Manager in SIMULIA R&D, who is responsible for PowerFLOW and PowerTHERM. He has over two decades of experience in CFD/CAE; including working as the CFD/Simulation expert at an energy storage startup, product management, and leading technology teams in new product development.
Kevin CARVALHO is Roles Portfolio Senior Manager in SIMULIA R&D, who is responsible for the Fluid Dynamics Engineer Role on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. He has significant experience in CFD/CAE: including working as a CFD analyst in two leading T&M OEMs as well as at SIMULIA to develop simulation methods for complex workflows.
Gregory LASKOWSKI is Director of Fluid Dynamics at Dassault Systèmes responsible for supporting the development and deployment of Navier-Stokes and Lattice-Boltzmann CFD solutions. He joined Dassault Systèmes in 2018 after having spent nearly 14 years at General Electric. Greg is an inventor on 22 patents or pending patents and an author of over 95 technical papers in the A&D and E&M industries. He holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State, an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, a Research Master in Aeronautics and Aerospace from the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, and a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University. Greg is a Fellow of ASME, Associate Fellow of AIAA, and Associate Editor of the Journal of Turbomachinery.
James HOCH is a Senior Director of R&D at Dassault Systèmes, where he leads the development of CFD software, including the PowerFLOW suite. Prior to Dassault Systèmes, James worked for the Exa Corporation, the original creators of PowerFLOW, as the Senior Vice President of Software Development. Before that, James was the lead architect on several research parallel computer systems and related compiler projects at Sandia National Laboratories.
