Abstract:
A challenging coil design for a combined PET-MR System operating in main magnetic field strength of 7 T and capable of parallel transmission and reception is presented. After determining the initial coil topology this is optimized using a genetic algorithm (NSGAII) in a combined Python/Microwave Studio environment.
