SIMULIA’s own Devadatta Mukutmoni, SIMULIA Industry Process Expert Senior Specialist, presented at the 2026 SIMULIA Americas Users Conference.
Abstract:
This seminar introduces the PowerFLOW Native Thermal Solver, highlighting its upcoming capabilities for solid conduction and radiation modeling within the PowerFLOW environment. Attendees will gain insight into the solver’s underlying methodology and its integration with existing CFD workflows. The session will cover practical applications, including Brake Cooldown and Brake Duty Cycle simulations, demonstrating how these workflows enable more efficient workflow execution for thermal performance predictions. In addition, the seminar will provide an update on evolving Thermal Protection capabilities, showcasing how the enhanced solver supports improved design validation and system-level analysis.
