Presenters:

Jason Carr

SIMULIA Industry Process Consultant - Dassault Systèmes

Jason Carr works as an Industry Process Consultant supporting a variety of industries within North America. He has been with Dassault Systèmes for over 9 years during which he has provided support on software deployment for workflows including aerodynamics, thermal management, FSI and multiphase flows. He has his Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace engineering.

Fei (Alex) Tao

SIMULIA Industry Process Consultant - Dassault Systèmes

Dr. Fei (Alex) Tao got his Ph.D. from Purdue University, Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering, where his research focused on composite structures and materials. Dr. Tao is currently an Industry Process Consultant at Dassault Systèmes Americas Corp supporting Abaqus and 3DEXPERIENCE Platform to high-tech, aerospace and defense customers. Dr. Tao has expertise in the mechanics of composites, multiscale mechanics, numerical analysis, and machine learning. He conducted extensive research on constitutive modeling of composites, discovering failure criteria of composites, physics-informed neural network (PINN) analysis of thin-walled structures, and surrogate modeling of the failure analysis of composite structures.
