We have been looking at many different Face Shield options and working with health care professionals to optimize design and 3D print time.  

The Design that Matters and Budman visors offer more protection for up and over spray encounter from patient fluids.  

The 3DVerstan visor from Sweden - prints in about 1/2 the time. Jon, one of the team members, modified this visor to include a small headband for comfort and increase the brim by 1 cm to allow the film not to touch the nose. 

Sterilization is still an issue because of the ridges in a 3DPrint.  

Gauze pads provide comfort for the head and are disposable.

Shield material, elastic, thin window insulation for comfort, and other purchased parts to complete the assembly are becoming more difficult to fulfill.  

We need a faster way to produce these frames. Are there other products out there that can be modified. If you work in another industry such as semiconductor, utility, logging, sports, are their products in your storerooms that could work for protection?  

These shields are not just for healthcare workers. Police, Fire, EMT's Grocery Store workers all need to protect themselves.
