MODSIM was presented during the French SIMULIA Regional User Meeting on June 4

The power of unified modeling and simulation in revolutionizing product design from concept to detailed design: Successful case studies and future directions were discussed during this event.

MODSIM bring engineers, stylists, and designers together to overcome the challenges of designing complex structures.

This approach allows them to optimize the design and performance of their products with greater efficiency and precision. In her presentation, @PM highlighted the potential of MODSIM in business transformation by applying it to different industries and scenarios.

She examined how fundamental aerodynamic and structural engineering concepts and calculation tools can be applied at the design/pre-design stage to create car roof assembly designs quickly that ensure safety and structural stability before proceeding with the vehicle's styling for aerodynamic efficiency and certification purposes.

This presentation also highlighted the ability to perform design trade-off studies at the concept stage and reduce vehicle suspension weight through the optimization of non-linear rubber bushing topology. The methods can also be used to design structures in other industries, such as aerospace and defense and industrial equipment.
