A real customer project is used to illustrate the various components of a comprehensive integration and migration platform between 3DEXPERIENCE and Teamcenter. The project illustrates how a SOA web service backbone allows to flexibly orchestrate and adapt the meta data and file exchange between complex PLM systems.
The used core technology components will be explained and how it is used to address the various business processes like exchange of engineering data like product structures, CAD data in various formats (e.g. CATIA V5) and configuration information.
The presented approach can be used as a template for scenarios like partner collaboration, migration and coexistence in the Automotive, Aerospace, Defense and Manufacturing industry.
