In CATIA Design, we offer solutions to support the community of Designers and Engineers with creative and procedural surface modelling, Class A surface refinement and high-end rendering for virtual prototyping and immersive product experiences. In this presentation, we will show you the evolution of our portfolio for realistic visualization, physically correct rendering and immersive VR experiences.
A lot of new features and improvements have come to the R2021x release of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. Realistic visualization and rendering add a new dimension on top of your CAD geometry: with highly detailed and realistic materials and lighting, you get a holistic visual impression of your final product. Our tools are natively implemented into the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and work directly on your managed CAD data. This way, there are no delays or disconnects by data conversion or export to external tools!
The main applications for rendering and interactive product reviews in the CATIA Design portfolio are CATIA Live Rendering and CATIA Product Perception Experience. We will present the feature evolution of both apps from R2021x Cloud GA until the latest R2021x FD03 release (which at the same time marks the On-Premise release of 21x). Finally, we will present the latest new features in our immersive VR roles for a stereoscopic 1:1 scale product experience. There are new features which apply throughout the entire 3DEXPERIENCE Platform in all 3D applications, as well as app-specific new features for more immersive product reviews and variant exploration.
