To answer Frédéric's comment on the post below (https://r1132100503382-eu1-3dswym.3dexperience.3ds.com/#community:17/post:1081), here is some details on the telescope for which the spider's hub is going to be replaced by a 3D printed one.
Global view of the telescope
There is also a cloth sleeve around the carbon rods but it has been removed to take the pictures.
It is an all handmade telescope, including the 25cm main mirror. The different gray and orange plywood boxes were designed a few years ago using DraftSight online.
It is controlled by a computer to automatically follow the sky to take long exposure time pictures.
Inside the telescope
You can see the main mirror and the secondary one, attached to the spider.
The spider
The white (and black inside) assembly with three teflon tuning bolts in the spider's central hub to be replaced by the 3D printed one. It is holding the secondary mirror.
This is going to be the first part not hand crafted of the telescope (excepts nuts, bolts and step by step electric motors).
EDIT 24/08/2017:
Thanks to Franck Lennon who printed the part!
Next step, install it in the telescope.
