Excited to Share My Journey of Creativity from Design to Manufacturing

I'm happy to share my little project from last year that exemplifies the power of cutting-edge technology in modern design and manufacturing!
Being a new plant enthusiast, I wanted to give my latest plant a stylish upgrade with a custom pot cover that truly reflected my aesthetic taste.
As a CAD enthusiast with access to the latest tools and resources, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to embark on an end-to-end journey, right from design thinking to actual manufacturing.
And guess what? I achieved my goal, all thanks to my basic skills in CAD and a trusty 3D printer at my disposal! ๐ฏ
First and foremost, I utilized the power of CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE on Cloud to push the boundaries of creativity and unleash my imagination onto the digital canvas. The ease of use and powerful parametric design capabilities allowed me to get an original design that would perfectly complement my beloved plant. ๐ฟ

It was there that I perfected my skills and immersed myself in the world of additive manufacturing technologies, laying the foundation for this successful venture.
After fine-tuning my design, it was time to turn it into reality using 3D printing technology. Thanks to the seamless integration of CAD and manufacturing, I was able to produce my desired custom pot cover right on the first try! ๐
But here's the twist that truly sets this project apart: I produced the 3D printed part out of a PLA containing 30% wood fibers, giving it a remarkably wood-like look while retaining the benefits of 3D printing technology! ๐ณ @SR @WS
This project serves as a testament to the immense potential of combining creative design thinking with innovative software tools and advanced manufacturing techniques. It's an incredible feeling to witness an idea taking shape and becoming tangible. ๐ ๏ธ
