We do have a very special bike prototype done by the startup StrongByForm, made of wood using a breakthrough technology.

As they are part of the 3DExperienceLAB program we have the chance to showcase it in our Velizy Showroom.

To place it in a safe condition I designed and fabricated the supports able to suspend the bike on a dedicated furniture !

Easy job with the 3DExperience and particularly CATIA Structural Generative Design, I started to design the shape envelop of the supports, taking care of interfaces with the bike, defining the constraints and launched the computation !
The Velizy Fablab is well equiped and those 2 parts came to life using a Formlabs Fuse 1 printer (SLS Nylon 12), the bike is now very well presented !
