I wanted to see how well a budget indoor camera could capture images through a window.
The biggest challenge? Glare. The theory states that the closer the camera is to the glass, the better the image quality.
To minimize reflections while still allowing the camera to pan and tilt, I designed and 3D-printed a custom holder that positions the camera just 1 mm from the glass. It blends nicely with the window frame and keeps everything stable.
If only the power cable was also white…
