Can AI help speed up CAD modeling? I recently put it to the test by recreating the Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) logo in xDesign using a combination of AI and CAD.

🚀 Workflow

✅ Started with a publicly available GTA VI logo image.

✅ Used Gemini to generate a clean line drawing from the original artwork.

✅ Imported the line art into xDesign and used the Picture to Sketch (Beta) command to convert it into editable sketch geometry.

✅ Cleaned up the sketch, created separate components for the text and background, and extruded them to build the final 3D model while keeping the Design Manager organized.

Using AI to prepare the artwork eliminated the need for manual tracing, allowing me to focus on the actual 3D modeling. It's a great example of how AI + CAD can streamline concept recreation and accelerate the design workflow.
