I have been playing around with a modular vertebrae design in xShape.

Each spine is connected via teeny tiny elastics on the inside wall of the vertebrae. This allows the spine to bend and twist like a real spine and then snap back into shape. 

I’m still dreaming about the final application of these vertebrae, but for now they are fun design objects to have on my desk!
