The Problem
One of our air registers is located next to the window. When I pull the drapes, the flow of air simply goes between the window and the curtains.
The Idea
Add a deflector that would hold the drape in place and ensure the air goes in the room.
The Challenge
The register is almost a foot long, much larger that what my P1P can print.
The Solution
Used the “Zipper Joint” to print the shield in two pieces and assemble them with no glue.
The deflector was printed in PETG translucent, making it inconspicuous. It does the job perfectly.
