Crazy Trinity | xDesign | 3DEXPERIENCE SolidWorks | DriveWorks

Hello everyone

In my previous posts, I shared with you a video that I designed the ring I saw while surfing the Internet using xDesign. I also created a tutorial series about it.

By adding an extra 40 seconds to my xDesign, SolidWorks Connected, and DriveWorks Solo video, I wanted to briefly show you what I've been doing while automating.

Scenario:

This ring caught the attention of my family and friends. They asked me to do it for them too. But did I have to scale it over and over for each ring finger size?

Of course not.

What's the solution?

The solution was to automate the design with DriveWorks.

What's in the video content?

A form section greets you on the right. On the first page of this section, you will be prompted to enter your name.

The second page shows how to take the ring size step by step. After following the steps, you need to enter the length of the rope.

In this way, your ring size will be determined automatically.

When you click on the Finish box, all the parts of Gear Ring are opened and scaled one by one and saved in a folder special to your name in STL format.
