Continuing Model Mania | 2004 & 2005

Looking to enhance your own SOLIDWORKS expertise? Completing 3DEXPERIENCE World's annual Model Mania challenge is an excellent way to test and grow your SOLIDWORKS design skills.

For those new to Model Mania, here's how it works: challengers are presented with a 2D CAD drawing of a part that must be recreated in SOLDIWORKS, as quickly and accurately as possible. Once perfecting the initial design, you're hit with phase 2 of the challenge, introducing a modification that must be added to the model. This transition not only teaches how to make changes on the fly, but to plan ahead and prepare for future revisions in your designs.

Over the past few days (and for the days to come), I've been completing each model from years 2000-2024 and sharing my progress on Madein3D. Here, I have the 2004 and 2005 models, including both their phase 1 and 2 renditions rendered in SOLIDWORKS Visualize and printed with Bambu Lab's P1S FDM printer.
