Blending my Armenian heritage with my passion for SolidWorks, I decided to design and create a backgammon board—a game deeply rooted in Armenia’s history for thousands of years. Inspired by traditional patterns and motifs, I modeled each component in SolidWorks, making every part of the board pay homage to Armenian culture. Using a combination of laser cutting and 3D printing, I brought my digital models to life, resulting in a unique backgammon set that celebrates both modern engineering and culture. This project not only deepened my connection to my background but also allowed me to explore new fabrication techniques and creative problem-solving within SolidWorks. The final board serves as both a functional game and a meaningful representation of my background, merging innovative technology with centuries-old Armenian tradition.
